Take a 20-minute cable car journey from Fiesch towards Eggishorn. Make a quick change at Fiescheralp which is easy and suitable for those with limited mobility; the Eggishorn is suitable for wheelchairs and prams. When you reach the top of Eggishorn, head over to the impressive viewpoint at an altitude of 2869 meters. Admire the full length and vastness of the Great Aletsch Glacier in all its glory from the viewing platform. Turn around and get a view of the higher peaks and most famous mountains of Switzerland. Observe the Mönch, the Eiger, the Jungfrau, the Wannenhorn, and the Finsteraarhorn. To the west of the area, admire the Weisshorn, the Mischabel group with the Dom, and the Matterhorn itself form a breathtaking 360° panorama. While you are there, write your wishes, worries or happy moments on a lucky stone at the viewpoint so you can return to the valley with a lighter step and a lighter heart. Use your round-trip cable car ticket to return back to Fiesch where you tour ends.
