The Arc de Triomphe is a Neoclassical take on the ancient Roman triumphal arch style. Fifty meters tall, the view from the platform atop the arch is well worth the hike. See the dozen Parisian avenues radiating out from the arch into the City of Light. Paris is one of the most fascinating places in the world and you will find yourself right at its center. At the base of the arch, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier pays tribute to the 1.3 million French soldiers who died in World War I. Behold the eternal flame that is rekindled at 6.30 PM each evening. In addition, there is a must-see exhibition that explains the symbolic importance of this monument. The view from the top of the arch is worth climbing the 284 stairs. From your privileged position, survey all of Paris. Unlike the obligatory Eiffel Tower trip, getting into the Arc de Triomphe is an effort not all tourists undertake. Brilliant service, met us outside the hotel 10 minutes early and explained everything what was happening on the day. Staff were friendly, professional and totally reliable. Travel to Paris was quick and straight forward. Dropped off at the Eiffel Tower and escorted to the waiting boat for the trip on the river. Explained how our day was planned and offered help and advice for the day in Paris. Would highly recommend to anyone to use this service we had a great hassle free day. Would definitely use again in the future.

The Arc is AMAZING!! However, the description of the ticket can be confusing—I saw multiple people asking for clarification because they were under the impression that they could just walk up and be let in instead of having to wait in line. In reality, purchasing this ticket allows you to only have to wait in one line instead of two—the security line…to be fair, that line will wrap all the way around the Arc, but it does move pretty quickly.

Versailles was impressive but be ready for a lot of info from the guide and lots of people.

Easy, short line, great information. Our guide, Laura, was fantastic.

Yahzid was amazing. Very interesting and knowledgeable
