This is a very informative tour, lots of history and not a lot of emphasis on the cocktails. We were able to buy several drinks along the way if you wanted, I was disappointed in most of the drinks, even if they were supposed to be "famous", they were over priced for what they were. But our guide, Dionne, was a great source of information and it was easy to tell that she was having a good time informing the group about all the history of New Orleans and the French Quarter. She made the tour a great experience! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
It was a great trip and floating on the river very enjoyable. However I wish there had been more places to sit out of the sun. I would highly recommend taking a broad brimmed hat and sunscreen. There was also some confusion (for me anyway) as it was mentioned that there were snack and drinks available, and there was drinks but nothing to buy to eat during the trip - except for the pre-ordered lunch.
The boat ride was a unique experience. The only thing was it was so many people I couldn’t hear the announcer. Maybe the volume was low but the ride was smooth.
Great way to spend our Anniversary! The scenery, food, music and ride was everything!
It was a great day on the river. We really had a good time. :)
