Discover Luxor Trip from Marsa Alam to see the highlights of Egypt’s ‘open-air museum’. Visit Valley of the Kings, Karnak Temple, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon. Return to Marsa Alam in the evening First, you will visit Karnak temple, the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name ipet-isut means ‘the most sacred place’. After having lunch at a restaurant on the Nile, you will take a trip to the west bank of this wonderful river to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III “Colossi of Memnon”, followed by the Valley of Kings, where magnificent tombs were discovered. Those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated, and filled with treasures for the pharaoh’s after-life. You will also visit the great Hatshepsut Temple. This impressive temple was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh in Ancient Egypt. After that, we will take you to see Alabaster workshops, where Egyptians manually produce their shop products.

We will pick you up directly from the entrance door of your hotel in Marsa Alam. First of all, we will take you to Abydos, one of the most ancient Cities of Egypt, considered as one of the most valuable archaeological sites. Discover the Temple of Seti I with its well preserved, still partly colored reliefs, and have a look at the famous Abydos Kings List of the ancient kings who reigned before Seti I. The List will start with Menes, the first pharaoh of the United Egypt, and end with Ramses I. Not far from Seti I’s Temple you will see a temple built by his son Ramses II, as it shows the battles of this Pharaoh, maybe the greatest and most powerful man in all the history of the Egyptian Empire, in detailed reliefs. After lunch we will head to the second of the tour’s destinations: Dendera. It’s an impressive Ptolemaic temple, dedicated to the Goddess Hathor, and one of the best-preserved sanctuaries all over Egypt. At night we will travel back to Marsa Alam to your hotel.e.
