An all-round successful and fascinating tour from the island of Djerba to the mainland of Tunisia. Incredibly informative, you get to know the life of the Berber people with their eventful history up close. The town of Tataouine and its bustling market is very different from the tourist-oriented souks of Medoun and Houmt Souk. The highlight of the tour is the visit to the Berber settlement of Chenini. A great local guide explains the eventful history of these settlements in a very informative and entertaining way with his own charm. Here's a big thank you! An included local lunch completes the visit to Chenini. The return trip led back to the hotel via other historically interesting places! Highly recommended, from processing to implementation. Our first tour via the app from this provider. Any time! That was not the last booking.

Had a nice and educational day around the island thanks to Monji the driver and guide Moana. Highlights of the day were Djerbahood with colorful graffitis, decorated entrance doors, cafes, and artist run small stores, and Houmt Souk. Note the main synagogue is closed on Saturdays.

Nice carriage ride to the midum market, our carriage driver served as our guide for the market visit. All right, to do. But I do not understand the big difference in price with the excursion offered by the hotel, for this one you are not competitive for the price it is a pity

Very friendly and local guide as well as the driver gave you an insight into the island that we would never have gotten on our own, highly recommended!

Both the owner of Depart Travel Services and our guide for the day were amazing! We learned so much and had a GREAT time!
