Our English speaking tour guide, born and raised in Verona, will lead you through the historic city center to discover some of the city's most delicious and traditional spots. Our first stop will be at the Gastronomia Doc&Dop to sample a selection of cured hams, cheeses and vegetable patès from Sicily. For the cheese lovers a selection of Monte Veronese, a semi-hard cheese that is produced in the local hills and has a distinctive flavor. After a short walk through the picturesque streets of Verona nearby an old Medieval castle Castelvecchio, we will stop at the oil mill Redoro shop. Lake Garda keeps the climate perfect to grow olives, so enjoy a bruschetta with this liquid gold and 2 patès. At a local chocolatier, we will sample some old fashioned chocolates and its history behind. Forget new brands and experience the ancient flavours of 20s to 50s chocolatiers. Walking around will stop by key landmarks from the Arena to the Roman old Porta Borsari. The story hasn't finished because Verona is famous for its Valpolicella wines. We will stop by the tasting room near the Arena where we will sample 2 iconic red wines (or rosè from Lake Garda if preferred). Fantastic morning! Loved every minute of this cooking class. Christina was wonderful- so friendly, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and calm. A wonderful teacher, who created a relaxed and fun learning environment. We had a lovely group with us and the place was clean and tidy ( immaculate). The food was superb and of such high quality. Learned a lot and will definitely be making the dishes on return home for family and friends. Thank you so much! X

What an amazing experience. We went during the off season, so it ended up just being us. The chef (Christina) made our experience very memorable. From start to finish, just amazing.

Isabella did a wonderful job introducing us to the food and wine of Verona. We made five stops tasting or drinking the regions specialties. It was a fun and educational morning.
