Easy and friendly contact at the entrance with the handing out of a video guide to download if you go down to the underground area. Alternatively, you can book a didactically good tour (English or Italian) for a surcharge. Interesting and clear inspection of the ancient excavations without large crowds of visitors. The church is also worth seeing, as are the halls that can be reached from the (shady and quiet) cloister. All in all, a place that is absolutely worth seeing in the middle of Naples, away from the tourist attractions

The tour was interesting and great historical information. The tour guide was difficult for me to understand. You could probably enjoy the site more going on your own without a tour guide.

Worth the visit. Very good guide who told us very well about the market under the city.

We had to pay the guide extra with 2 euros per person despite booking.

The bus was a bit old, the guide good, Vesuvius itself impressive
