Make your first day as easy as possible at Cardrona with a first-timer package for kids and adults. With facilities like the learner conveyor tunnel, a beginners’ area close to the base, gentle learner runs, a dedicated kids’ conveyor, and of course the amazing snow sports school, there’s no better place to learn to ski or snowboard. The first timer package is a great introduction to the sport, and is the most cost-effective way to learn how to ski or snowboard. The package includes beginners’ area lift passes, rental equipment, and 4.5 hours of lessons. On top of that, you can choose to upgrade yourself to an all-inclusive package to add on a clothing and accessories bundle. Your first-time package includes a full-day learners pass and a single uplift on the McDougall's Chondola in the afternoon. This will allow you to get to the top of the mountain on your very first day. Once there you can snap that pic for your friends, before taking the green beginner run back to base or jumping back onto the gondola to cruise back in comfort.

Maximize your time in Cardona with a single day ski lift pass and enjoy access to McDougall's Chondola, Whitestar Express, Captains Express, Valley View Quad, and the learner conveyors from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Simply collect your lift pass at the Cardrona Mountain Ticket Office or at the local operator shop in Queenstown or Wanaka, then it’s time to hit the slops and have some fun.

Ride the McDougall’s Express Chondola up the mountain and relax as you watch the skiing action from above. The Chondola starts right beside the base area so you can skip the trek through miles of snow. In under four minutes arrive at the top of the mountain where you'll have the chance to stop for a coffee or champagne and take in the breathtaking views. Hike for a short 2-minute to the lookout for views over Queenstown and Wakatipu Basin. Take photos to remember your experience and head back down to the base for a hot chocolate or try a Kiwi classic of "fush 'n' chups."

This single-day lift pass and rental package includes everything you need for a great day out on the mountain and removes the fuss of carrying heavy gear with you. Lap the mountain all day long with access to McDougall's Chondola, Whitestar Express, Captains Express, Valley View Quad, and the learner conveyors, from 8:30AM to 4:00PM. Whether you're a skier or a snowboarder, this package provides boots, skis/a board and poles/wrist guards which can be fitted and collected along with your lift pass from 1 of the 3 locations. Simply pop into the off-mountain offices in Wanaka and Queenstown before you head to the mountain, or choose to collect your gear on-mountain upon your arrival.

Choose a full day of skiing or snowboarding at Cardrona Alpine Resort with a package that includes 2 x 2-hour long group lessons with a professional instructor, an all-mountain lift pass, and equipment rental. Everyone can benefit from this package as lessons will be suitable for both kids and adults.  If you want to brush up on your skills and you don't have your own gear, a full-day lesson package is a great start. The package includes a full day all-mountain lift pass, 2 group lessons, and rental of skiing or snowboarding equipment. The lessons are perfect for both kids and adults. Each lesson is 2 hours duration and can be joined at any level. Rental equipment provided includes skis, boots, and poles OR snowboard, boots, and bindings. Additional rental items are available to rent on-mountain. This package is valid for use at Cardrona Alpine Resort (June 26- October 18) during 2020 winter season.
