This tour is a must for all first timers to the Dominican Republic! The natural swimming pool is a wonder to behold & you really get a sense of the natural paradise the Dominican Republic is. The Saona island was also idyllic. We got to get there on speed boats and it was fun and exhilarating. Finally, our tour guide Alberto was very knowledgeable and funny.

The start of the trip wasn’t so good. We were one of the first to pick up, so we couldn’t eat breakfast at the hotel. Surprisingly the bus driver was on time, but then.. We had a 3 hour bus trip, then we would go on a catamaran, which had extremly loud music and we were sooo hungry. The very loud music didn’t let us join the catamaran trip, it was ridicilous. We asked to maybe lower the music a little, so it would be enjoyable, but no one cared. So we weren’t so happy at the beginning, but later everything was great! We didn’t see any starfish, but the natural swimming pool was great and Sanoa island is a paradise. The food was OK and the photographers did very good pictures- we were really surprised. Overall- the end of the trip was great and our guide was cool, so we were pleased! Only the music at the catamaran was terrible :)

Communication and collection was easy and correct. Altos de Chavon was unfortunately rushed through - which we were also aware of. We were almost alone for that. On the other hand, we were about 60 people on the catamaran. Nevertheless it was really great, also the swim stop in the sea at the sandbar. We even saw starfish. Then we were about 2.5 hours on Saona and there was something to eat and drink on the boat all the time. We went back by speedboat and on the way back we stopped at a small cafe where you could buy souvenirs but didn't have to. From the organization, price and appearance of the island really recommendable
