A great couple of days.

Titicaca is a fantastic place and it was great to see the different ways of life for the people living on the lake. The flowting islands of Uros was very interesting, but the best thing was staying with a lokal family on Amantani and getting an insite into their day to day life. Good food, beautiful nature and friendly people. All in all a great couple of days.

They picked us up at the hotel in Puno at the agreed time, although then we had to wait a long time in the street until the transport arrived that would take us to the port. We stopped in only one island of the Uros due to the poor state of the lake, a lot of wind and waves. We visited the island of Amantaní and loved the experience of staying there with a local family. The second day we visited Taquile and we were left with the desire to learn a little more about the customs of its inhabitants, since they only left us there to walk and take photos. The return was earlier than Getyourguide specified and we discussed it with the guide, who told us that there were people who had a flight and had to return earlier than planned. We insisted on staying a little longer but there was no way to return to Puno on our own. At 12 noon we embarked for Puno and at 3 pm we had already arrived. We feel a bit cheated because on the web it said that the arrival would be between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
