June was so funny and knowledgeable about local cuisine! She also had insightful things to say about the area itself, about Taipei and how it relates to my own country’s food culture. It was such a great experience! We even got to know some of the store owners and their history in the context of Taiwanese cuisine.

Our guide, Jones, was very knowledgeable about the places and the background of the establishments he brought us to. He brought us to food places that we would have never known about. We told him to surprise us with the places that we would bring us to and he did not disappoint us. Jones was also very fluent in English so there was no language barrier between us. This private food tour is highly recomended.

The food we tasted was amazing. The guide was unbelievably gracious and knowledgable. He not only had us taste some wonderful food, but he patiently answered all our questions, and explained many different aspects of their culture. My wife and I enjoyed the tour so much, that we would take it again the next time we are there.
