we received a message the day before the tour confirming the pick up time and location, as well as a message in the morning advising us of arrival time. the driver, Peter, made sure we arrived at the entrance and provided our tickets. the tour guide, Samantha was excellent. Very informative with a hint of humour. Great tour!

we was picked up on time, when we arrived the driver gave us our pass which we joined the cue for our English guide, Camilla was our guide spoke very good English and very informative, we had a time slot but everything moved along fine, plenty of time to take photo's, you have to walk down a lot of steps first and also there is a lot of walking which is over 2 hours, absolutely beautiful lots of sculptures made from salt, even a church down there, well worth a visit, when the tour finished you had a bit of a walk to get to the lift but when we came out at the top it was a different exit so was unsure how to get back at the drop off, we did ask and you've just got a short walk, wished the driver had said this but very well worth a visit, you can only go down with a guide, so you won't get lost, a must to visit

What an amazing place!! Has to be seen to be believed. Our guide in the mines (Simon) was really good - quite a comedian and interacted brilliantly with the group. The only issue was that he talked very fast and, although his English was really excellent, some of the pronunciation made it a bit difficult to understand. We came out to a torrential downpour - at least the shop must have made a fortune selling plastic ponchos! The lady from the tour company was fantastic. She came to look for us and got us back to the mini van where we were able to dry off. The town itself suffered quite a bit of flooding and driver was brilliant getting us back in the time he did. Seemed a bit expensive, especially compared to Auschwitz trip, but overall it was worth it.
