    Venture by train through the Atlantic rainforest, with its unique flora and fauna, to the historic colonial town of Morretes, nestled at the foot of the Serra do Mar mountains in the state of Paraná. From your Curitiba hotel in the morning, you'll be shuttled along some of the best preserved rainforest in southern Brazil, to the foothills at the Serro do Mar where Morretes awaits. You'll explore the historic center of the town, strolling amidst the quaint 18th-century architecture, old colonial houses and churches, and through the craft market. You'll stop for lunch on the banks of the Nhundiaquara river to feast on the region's traditional Barreado, a meat-dish cooked slowly in a clay pot for several hours, then served over rice, with fruit, and a side of breaded fish. No Brazilian experience is complete without a taste of its wholesome cuisine!

    • Return is on bus by road on Estrada da Graciosa , expected to arrive in Curitiba at 4:30 PM

    Overall the trip was great but the train I didn't give it five stars is because when I was given the train ticket the seat was in the section where no English announcements would be given. I wad told by the tour guide I'd need to pay in another $R200 to get a seat in the English section. I then produced my voucher and another attendant arranged a seat in the correct section. I also felt that the Antonino visit was a bit rushed. The tour guide and bus driver were excellent

    After stress of being forgotten, satisfactory solution.

    Scheduled for 7:00 am, at 9:00 we made contact to know why the delay. Return that we had not confirmed. Well, we pay on time. We exchange emails with identity numbers. On the third call (two dropped) an extremely attentive attendant sought the solution by reversing the ride: we got off the van and returned by train. Special thanks for the "up grade" that made the tour more wonderful than we expected. Kudos to the girl who answered us both on the phone and on arrival. Aside from the first stress, everything else was great. Very attentive driver and guide. Service in the special car beyond expectation. Anyway, very well attended. Also the Sunday afternoon tour, hired to visit the main points of the city, of excellent quality, with great care of the guide made available to us. Anyway, the evaluation is: company with professionalism and friendliness, able to captivate and get activities recommended with GetYouGuide.

    What a unique experience. Amazing. From reception at the hotel, then upon arrival at the station. The tour doesn't even need comments on how wonderful it is. The tour and restaurant choices blew me away.
