The Alhambra is beautiful, but my partner and me felt we needed more time even though we got there at 13.00 hrs and stayed till the end at 18.00 hrs. So much to see! Also we were late for our slot at the Nasrid Palaces and we weren’t allowed in, so note to selves - get there in time! We will be going back though, stunning views too of Granada.

I'd recommend going through get your guide for Alhambra tickets with a few things to consider. -The audio guide itself was a bit of a letdown since the audio itself is a generic retread of what's in the description at each site. -The granavision place to pick up your tickets is easy to find and the front desk folks are more than willing to answer your questions or concerns you may have If I were to do this again however I don't think going through the main Alhambra site isnt a bad option, I've heard the site is a bit buggy and can cause issues day of but I only went through gyg for that reason. Plus it's much more affordable. If you do decide to go through gyd, I highly recommend a guided tour. While solo you go at your own pace the Alhambra is so vast physically and historically it's impossible to fully appreciate without full context. Overall get your guide I'd recommend.

Audio tour was a little confusing with the numbers/map/colour system. Once you get the hang of it you’re about half way around. Wasn’t any Skip the line as stated, we queued at the palace for about 25mins at our scheduled time. Go early in the morning or evening to avoid the crowds and instagramers.
