we had great time after we got on the truck! a little confused during pickup since there're many tour operators. you need to pay the entrance fee of $8 per person to get in the View hotel pickup area, then have that receipt with you during the tour when you get on the truck. our guide was awesome, told us stories, sang and took great pictures I don't remember her name but i think she is in her 50th

Excellent tour with great photo opportunities which is what we liked most. Great if you don’t want to tackle the rough loop road in your car as it is best left to sturdy 4 x 4 vehicles which is what the tour is conducted in. There is plenty of narration of Navajo culture too.

Monument valley is stunning to view but it came alive with the excellent Navajo tour guide who shared with us the history and culture of her people and helped us see our surroundings with more perceptive eyes.. We would have missed so much touring on our own.
