Full description

Start your journey from the meeting point and get picked up by your driver. On your first stop, dress up in traditional Berber clothes and enjoy a 30-minute camel ride. Then visit a female-run argan oil cooperative for a bread and oil tasting paired with Moroccan tea. Next, drive to the picturesque village of Imlil at 1740 meters altitude which will be the starting point of your hike. Wander past flowing rivers, walnut trees, and traditional Berber villages along the way. Stop at a local Berber house and take in spectacular views from the roof terrace. Continue the hike to a Berber ecolodge and savor a delicious Berber lunch prepared by the local staff the lodge. After lunch, continue the walk and explore the scenic landscape including a spectacular waterfall. Your driver will then take you back to Marrakech where you'll return around 5:30 PM. Saturday and Tuesday tours also include a visit to a local Berber farmers market.

I really enjoyed my guide and the other people in my group. I also enjoyed visiting the women's collaborative. And the view of the mountains was stunning. However, the places where we hiked and the lunch we had was nothing out of the ordinary. I would likely have picked another day-long experience over the course of a six day trip if I had it to do over again, but over a longer trip I would set aside time for it.

Wonderful day: full of different experiences (factory of products based on argon, camel rides, souk, mountain walk with a very pleasant break at the foot of a beautiful waterfall) and excellent lunch on a terrace in the sun and quiet with a magnificent view of the mountains !!!

Abdul was a very nice driver. explained a lot to us during the trip and answered questions. rachid our guide in imlil is a warm person and we were enthusiastic about the whole tour. the view and the food at the end were awesome. I would 100% recommend the trip
