With this transportation pass, bypass the ticket lines and ride on Venice's public transport services. Climb aboard the public ship, known as the vaporetto, and explore the city by waterway. The ticket is valid for nearby areas and for buses in Mestre and Marghera.

Begin traveling around Venice with your pass by first pausing at a vaporetto stop. Once you've acquired your ticket, head out with one of the unique water buses to your destinations. Cruise around the city and take in the sights for an hour or up to a full week, depending on your ticket.

Make the most out of your ticket by journeying to area destinations, including Venice's surrounding islands. Experience the magic of Lido, Murano, Burano, and Torcello Island with the handy ticket that has you covered at every step of the way. Zip over to Mestre and Marghera with a bus.

  • Tickets are not valid for the Alilaguna lines, Casinò route, and routes 16, 19, and 21

The pass is a good idea but don't do what I did which is to not read the small print. I did not read about validation and where we got on at the station everything was open. You didn't have to click your ticket anywhere - result: ticket inspectors and a €50 fine each for two of us. €40 plus €100 fine for two of us, hence one star for value for money!

The water buses in Venice are very good to use to travel you to different places in Venice. It is nice to see Venice by Canal. It is nice to see all the buildings that are by the canals. Water buses are a good service to use. My mum and I enjoyed going on the water bus during our holiday in Venice.

Definately book this before you go. Obtaining your ticket from the machine was ultra easy. We used the waterbus as our transfer to the hotel, and our trip to Murano and Burano, cutting out both those costs. It was really part of the Venice experience.
