Full description
Discover the contrasts of Hamburg on an exciting bike tour through the Hanseatic city. The tour convenes at Dammtor, just 10 minutes from the bike shop. After you have chosen a suitable bike for yourself, ride towards Sternschanze, through the historical neighborhood of Schröderstift, Sternschanzenpark, and the actual district with its alternative cultural activities. Continue on along Hafenstrasse in St. Pauli through the Portuguese quarter to Neustadt. Find out more about the project of the artist cooperative “Komm in de Gänge” and pass through the sophisticated boutique scenery along the Inner Alster Lake. Visit the Kontorhaus district from the 1920s and visit the “Münzviertel” in Hammerbrook, a representative case for the discussion on socially responsible city use. Ride on to St. Georg, where you will find contrasts of multicultural life. The route takes you on to the Inner Alster Lake under the Lombard Bridge with its “campers” and further on to the rowing clubs and consulates before returning to the bike shop.
