Our guide Astrid was lovely and very knowledgeable. Due to weather, we got a late start which started our tour off on a low. Overall the tour was wonderful and we were able to see the highlights in a short amount of time without a lot of waiting. However, I would not say this tour was “Child Friendly” as the history and information was way above her level. We were given a choice at the beginning of the tour if we wanted it to be more geared towards adults or kids and we opted for adults. The description of the tour mentions children being a detective and it sounds very engaging for kids (which is why I booked this particular tour) but we received none of that. My daughter was bored the entire time and we were left to keep her entertained which meant one adult was away from the tour. While Astrid was very intellectual and knowledgeable, her tour seemed to be much more high level than what we expected. That being said, it was overall, a wonderful way to see the Louvre.

Great experience. We met our guide (whose name I have forgotten) at the meeting point and he confirmed what my 12 year old would find most interesting (the mummy!) He quickly came up with a tour that suited all of us. He had great knowledge of the pieces we saw and we felt it was great value for money.

Booked a 2hour tour for me, my husband and 7 year old daughter. Clement was our guide and was excellent. Arrived early and he was there and ready to go. He accommodated us so that we saw what we wanted to, at our own pace. He was externally knowledgeable and we all learned so much. Worth every penny.
