The town of Cachi is picturesque, it can be covered in a short time, but even so, I would have stayed an hour longer (we only had 1:45 to go). That is my only observation and for which I do not qualify as "Very good". I think you have to respect certain hours, but I didn't want to stop commenting because it's not a bad idea to stay in the town or take advantage of more time. They say that the sunset and the night are very beautiful. I did not spend the night in Cachi because I wanted to go from there to Cafayate but there is no public transport, so I returned to Salta. Similarly, you have to keep looking for options and maximize the time of excursions and visits. Hugs and good trip!
