Full description
Join a small-group eco safari to explore the coastal wilderness of York Peninsula over 3 days. Choose from a range of accommodation options. Day 1: Adelaide to Spencer Gulf (L, D) Depart Adelaide at 7:30 am and begin your journey. See diverse scenery from coastal mangroves to rich farmland along the way. Walk along Ochre Cliffs to discover coloured clays traditional to Aboriginal culture. Enjoy picnic lunch on the cliffs near Troubridge Point. Explore coastal scenery at Spencer Gulf. Kick back and relax with a wholesome meal and sample some of the local seafood. Stay overnight in a Holiday Home/Park. Day 2: Innes National Park & Southern Yorke Peninsula (B, L, D) Explore Innes National Park and coastline of Southern Yorke Peninsula. Enjoy magnificent views over Kangaroo Island and discover pristine beaches. Come face-to-face with abundant local wildlife. See the ruins of Inneston or spot one of the shipwrecks that lie off the coast. Visit the lighthouses at Cape Spencer & West Cape. Marvel at sunset over the ocean and stay overnight in a Holiday Home/Park. Day 3: Beach & Barley Stacks Winery (B, L) Stroll along the spectacular coastline of Spencer Gulf. Search for dolphins in the surf or grab a fishing rod for some beach fishing. During winter, observe Southern Right Whales from several vantage points. On return to Adelaide, visit the Barley Stacks Winery and sample some of the local wine. Arrive in Adelaide approximately 5:00 pm.

Det var en fin tur. Turen var på ingen måde kommerciel, og jeg havde følelsen af, at jeg sammen med guiden besøgte det ukendte Australien. Der var god tid til at se de forskellige ting, og turen var på ingen måde stresset. Jeg kunne godt have haft tænkt mig mere vandring. Hvis jeg skal kritisere turen lidt, var det en dyr tur. Jeg betalte omkring 5000 kr., og det var for lige i overkanten i forhold til mad, komfort, oplevelser etc.
