Wonderful to have skipped the long line by having our digital tickets. It’s an amazing place to visit. Lots of walking so wear good shoes and drink plenty of water in the summertime. The ruins and the park itself are very well maintained and there are places to get a snack or drink along the way. If you are tired at the end and don’t want to walk back you can take a taxi or shuttle cart.

Visiting the Valley of the Temples is absolutely stunning. In any case, you should take an audio guide to learn the background of the individual temples. The price on site is ten euros instead of €15 at GetYourGuide. The cashiers had difficulties handling the get your Guide voucher. Since we went in May, an online booking was completely unnecessary. She brought us no benefit. We had to queue quite normally, like everyone else, without a voucher, too.

The valley of the temples is fabulous. There isn't much more to say. Taking the ticket online, paying three euros more per person, makes little sense. There is talk of a priority entrance that does not exist. In any case, you must queue for security checks before the ticket office. We waited shortly, but because it was the end of September and certainly not for the priority ticket. Same thing at the ticket office: I would have done earlier to buy the ticket than to wait for the employee to find my name on the list.
