Begin the day with a pick-up from your accommodation in a comfortable minivan at around 8:30 AM. The first stop will be in Agrigento. This city used to be the richest of all the Greek colonies.  Admire the beautiful and impressive Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. See some of the best-preserved Greek temples in the world. Pindar, the Greek poet, and writer, described it as one of the most beautiful cities of those inhabited by mortals. The Valley of the Temples is famous for its well-preserved temples, seven in total.  The Temple of Concordia is one of the best preserved Greek temples in the world helping the site to gain the classic UNESCO world heritage award. At the site, visit the remains of many other temples dedicated to various divinities like Juno, Hercules, Hephaestus, and Athena. Next see one of the most amazing beaches in Sicily. A few kilometers away from Agrigento, find the Scala dei Turchi, literally translated to Turkish steps. Discover a dazzling white rock formation, rising from the clear blue sea-like giant steps. Walk this gentle slope, high above the sea on your feet, and enjoy a unique experience. Here, have free time to enjoy one of the most famous beaches in Sicily. Enjoy brunch made of typical Sicilian food with bottles of water, and red local wine. Arrive back in Catania in the early evening, at around 7:00 PM.

Drive to the southern coast of Sicily in a comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle to explore and learn about the history, culture, and art found in Sicily in the Valley of the Temples and Villa Romana del Casale.  Begin with a visit to the majestic archaeological area of the Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pindar, the Greek poet, and writer described it as “one of the most beautiful cities of those inhabited by mortals”. Famous for its seven well-preserved temples, the Valley of the Temples is dedicated to various divinities including Juno, Hercules, Hephaestus, and Athena. The visit to the Valley of the Temples is a wonderfully memorable experience that allows you to delve into the Greek culture and history that has been woven into Sicily.  After strolling through the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, you will stop to enjoy a delicious brunch, made of Sicilian street food, water, and wine before traveling to Piazza Armerina. Found in the heart of Sicily, Piazza Armerina is home to the splendid Villa Romana del Casale a majestic imperial villa originally the property of a powerful Roman family. At the villa, you will find the best conserved in-situ Roman mosaics in the world.

Depart Catania and travel to the hilltop city of Agrigento, known for the ruins of the ancient city of Akragas. Discover the well-preserved ruins of the Valley of the Temples, including the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Temple of Juno and Temple of Concordia. See the former theater used for the assembly of free citizens at the Ekklesiasterion, along with 3 sanctuaries and the necropolises of Montelusa, Moses and Pezzino. Continue to Piazza Armerina in the Erean Mountains and marvel at the stunning mosaics in the ruins of a Roman nobleman's residence at the Villa del Casale.

After departing from the historical center of Ribera and heading in the direction of the castle of Poggio Diana, you will see the stunning canyon of the River Verdura. From here, you will be totally immersed in some of the most wild areas of this hinterland region, following tracks that are only accessible with off-road vehicles. You will cross rivers and drive through underpasses, before then climbing up again to receive breathtaking views of the region spanning from the Saccensi Coast all the way to the coast of Eraclea Minoa. The tracks driven over for this tour are 70% dirt road. At the conclusion of your tour, you will be safely returned to the original meeting point.

Starting from the small harbor of San Leone, surrounded by the enchanting scenery of the province of Agrigento, we will accompany you to the richest fishing grounds in the Mediterranean, where bluefin tuna live. You will have all the equipment you need, thanks to our high-quality equipment provided by real fishing professionals. We will provide you with 20 kg of bait, just to make sure that our scaly friends are intrigued by your delicious offering! With the help of our experienced captain, you will learn the technique of drifting, moving about 10 km along the crystal clear waters, letting the current carry you along as the tuna approach your bait with an irrepressible desire to bite. It is important to point out that during the summer season, the tuna are engaged in their love dance, so catching them is not guaranteed. But don't worry, because the thrill of braving the waves and embarking on this adventure is still unparalleled!

To begin, take a walk with your native local guide who will reveal Taormina’s culture, architecture, natural and political history, and tell stories about the Sicilian people and their traditions. Conquered by the Romans, Greeks, Arabs, Byzantines, and Normans, Taormina boasts a rich and fascinating history and a robust mix of styles. Discover little streets and hidden corners that give Taormina a special charm. The next day involves a half-day trip to the small antique villages of Savoca and Forza d’Agro located on the mountains. See the places where the most famous scenes of the Godfather movies were made. Next, get a real taste of Taormina. Savor its delicious food, soak in its vibrant culture, and meet the people who keep so many wonderful food and wine traditions alive. Just follow your expert guide through the town and eat and drink like the locals. The next day involves an adventure to visit Mt. Etna. You will have free time to walk on the old lava flows before continuing your tour to a famous winery located on the slopes of Etna, famous for it’s unique vulcanic wines and organic food. You will then head to magnificent Noto. While walking around, taste a famous Modica chocolate and Sicilian ice-cream with extraordinary flavor. The next day will feature a 2-hour walking tour of Ortigia, Syracuse’s old town. Admire the majesty of the Apollo Temple before heading down Via Cavour, one of the most colorful streets in Ortigia, where local artists and aristocrats like to spend their evenings. It’s then time to say goodbye to Syracuse and move towards Palermo passing the ancient Temple Valley. The following day, sample the best Sicilian streetfood during a 3-hour walking tour of Palermo. This food tour, led by a local expert guide, explores the fascinating culinary world of Sicily’s capital and includes a visit of the famous and bustling Vucciria and Mercato del Capo outdoor markets.

Day 1 After getting picked up at Catania Airport, enjoy a welcome aperitif in the company of your local guide in Catania. Afterward, enjoy a walking tour of the city during which you will see iconic landmarks such as the Duomo Square, The cathedral fi Saint Agatha, Roman Amphitheatre, and Bellini Park. Day 2 Start your day with a light trek on Europe's most active volcano, Mount Etna. After your trek, re-energize with a traditional Italian lunch at a family-run restaurant. You will also be able to sample some local wines from the Etna region. After lunch, enjoy some free time to explore the town of Taormina at your own pace before heading up to Castelmola, where you can sample the region's famous almond wine served with delicious biscuits. Finish the day by watching the breathtaking sunset in the village of Savoca, one of Italy's prettiest villages and the setting for the Godfather movie. Day 3 Today, enjoy a guided tour of the city of Syracuse, including a visit to the island of Ortigia. Here, admire landmarks such as the Cathedral of Saint Lucy, Caravaggio, Archimedes Square, and the Fountain of Aretusa. Afterward, move onto Neapolis Archaeological Park where you can admire the Latomie del Paradiso, Greek Theatre, Roman Amphitheatre, and  The Ear of Dionysius. Stop for lunch in the town of Noto, a baroque-style town with elegant churches and sprawling palaces. In the afternoon, enjoy a chocolate-making masterclass in the oldest chocolate factory in Sicily before heading to the picture-perfect town of Ragusa Ibla, where you will spend the night. Day 4 Start your day at the Villa del Casale in Piazza Armerina, where one of the largest and richest collections of Roman mosaics in the world awaits you. Afterward, head to the Valley of Temples, where you will discover one of the greatest examples of Greater Greece's art and architecture. Enjoy some free time to explore this sprawling temple complex, with 7 ancient Greek temples. Day 5 In the morning, head to the coastal town of Marsala to sample the town's namesake wine. Learn how to differentiate this unique fortified wine by its amber color and unique scent. In the afternoon, head to the Trapani Salt Museum. Here, learn more about salt production methods in the area and admire a unique landscape dotted with over 100 mills, some of which are still in function. Finish the day with a stroll around the medieval town of Erice, a historic and charming town located in the Sicilian hills. Day 6 Today, you will be visiting the towns of Palermo and Monreale, both of which are famous for their Byzantine-style mosaics. In Palermo, visit the 12th-century cathedral and immerse yourself in the city's vibrant history and culture. In Monreale, admire the fine mosaics in the town's great Norman cathedral. Afterward, take in panoramic views of the surrounding valley, filled with orange, olive and almond trees. Day 7 Spend your last day in Sicily at the seaside town of Cefalu. Spend a few hours getting lost in a maze of tiny streets and ice-cream shops before heading Castelbuono, a picturesque village hidden in the Madonie Mountains. Get dropped off back at the airport at the end of your trip.

The excursion to Eraclea Minoa and the Scala dei Turchi is a short and interesting tour around the western coast of the province of Agrigento, to discover a historical and natural atmosphere made up of preserved beaches and archaeological remains. Our day begins by bus at 8:30 or 14:30 with departure from your hotel in Sciacca or from the Gulliver agency. Archaeological park The first stop is the archaeological park set in the promontory of "Capo Bianco" at the foot of the mouth of the Platani river. This double name of his can be traced back to the myth of an ancient Sicily, of the demigod Heracles and of King Minos. There are large defensive lines, with towers and gateways to the city, remains of inhabited neighborhoods and a theatre: the latter is protected by a cover to prevent erosion by atmospheric agents and is still used today as a venue for performances that have the cliffs of Capo Bianco and the splendid underlying beaches as a backdrop. The material discovered during the erosion is kept in the Antiquarium at the entrance to the site. The beach of Eraclea Minoa It stretches for about 6 kilometers in an amazing environment: the fine white sand is bathed by a sea of extreme beauty, clean, fresh and luxuriant with marine fauna. Behind it, a thick pine forest accompanies the coast for its entire surface. Scale of the Turks The second stop is the Scala dei Turchi, a magnificent dazzling white jewel that stands out among the clear blue of the sea. Describing the view is not transmissible in full: you have to live immersing yourself with all five senses in the magic of this incredible white marble cliff. It is a fascinating place where centuries of rain and wind have carved out a large natural staircase whose white color is made more dazzling by the sunlight. The Scala dei Turchi is not only nature, but it is a place recalled by local legend: it is said that the Saracen corsairs, for the Sicilians "the Turks", after having moored the ships in the calm, clear waters protected by the cliffs, climbed up these natural "stairs" reaching the top and thus invading the surrounding villages, including Realmonte.

Kolymbetra Garden Staircase of the Turks of Realmonte The Valley of the Temples is an archaeological area in Sicily characterized by an exceptional state of conservation and by a series of important Doric temples from the Hellenic period. It corresponds to the ancient Akragas, monumental original nucleus of the city of Agrigento. Today it is a regional archaeological park. Since 1997 the entire area has been included in the list of world heritage sites drawn up by unesco. It is considered a popular tourist destination, as well as being the symbol of the city and one of the main ones on the whole island. The archaeological and landscape park of the Valley of the Temples, with its 1300 hectares, is the largest archaeological site in the world.

Starting already in the morning, so as to take full advantage of the first light of day, you will carry out your fishing trip, just in front of the beaches of San Leone, Punta Bianca and Agrigento, covering about three miles of navigation. Accompanied by our skipper, you will be guided on the shoals of the coast, looking for the biggest fish to catch: mackerel, bream, sea bream, sea bream and sea bream will be our main prey. You will live, therefore, an experience of simplicity and fun, in the company of your loved ones, which will remain forever in the memories of your trip to Sicily.
