The trip was great and of course the best was the hot air balloon ride, absolutely magical! What lowers the rating is that about half of us had to listen for several hours to a guide on the bus who basically spoke exclusively Russian, certainly good for those who could speak Russian but the rest of us were completely excluded from everything he told us.

Fantastic trip got a lot to see but a lot of Russian

Even though the program and visited locations were very good, we were surprised by the lack of an english speaking guide in our bus. We had to sit the whole 7 hours drive asking around others to know what was happening and what to do. We were only introduced to an english speaking guide in cappadocia and he wasn't present on the way back as well. Additionally, we inquired about the possibility to reserve our own hot air balloon ride for 60$ but the local partner refused saying that we should go with their optional ride instead which we were informed was 120$, to make things worst on the day of the trip they told us the hot air ballon rides are fully booked and we won't be able to go ... we could however find available places online. On the way back we had to wait 1h at a gas station to wait for our ride back to kaleichi. If it weren't for the friendly guide and good locations i would have given this only 1 star
