What people are saying about Alentejo, Portugal

This was a great tour! We visited and saw so much, but it was also really well thought out. What our group particularly enjoyed was the balance between visiting historic monuments, churches in Evora with the beautiful views and the more leisurely pace of Monsaraz. Of course, visiting sites is only one half of the equation, with the other being the people you are with. Antoine was our tour guide and did an incredible job facilitating our tour. You can tell he is very passionate about history, and he presented all the information to us in a really comprehensible manner. He was a really enthusiastic group leader, and ensured that we were well taken care of. Overall, I have no hesitation in recommending this tour. Our group really enjoyed it!

The drive was comfortable and the guide was well informed and resourceful. Anything he didn't know he would look up or ask someone for us. His lunch recommendation was fantastic and we had enough time to get in a wine tasting in an Evora shop. If you are in Lisbon for more that 2 days, this is a day trip you shouldn't miss. It is laid back and full of Instagram moments. The sunset view alone was completely worth it!

An excellent tour, the guide Gonzalo was super friendly, very knowledgeable about both the sites visited and the history. He treated us in a special way, unmissable. Monsarraz is something unique, it looks like a medieval town frozen in time, everything impeccable. Thanks to Gonzalo, a young entrepreneur, responsible, concerned about giving his best, and I'm sure he succeeded

We had an amazing day trip, Carlos our guide was so knowledgable and so entertaining throughout the day! Fabulous lunch and fire water tasting! Would highly recommend this trip. Wonderful views at Cape St Vincente , lovely to see the countryside Silves and Monchique were highlights too. Thank you Carlos and Portitours! From Jane and Nick

We have had such a great time. Our tour guide Antoine did an absolute great job. Very informative, enthusiastic, personable and a joy to spend time with. We learned so much history where ever we went. Highly recommend this tour.
