Following pickup from your hotel in Lisbon, make your way to Évora, the historic capital of the Alentejo. Start the day with a tour of the Almendres Cromlech. Older than Stonehenge, this megalithic complex reveals some of the secrets of ancient civilizations and their knowledge of astronomy. Admire the circle of stones, mysteriously aligned with the sun and stars. Next, explore the UNESCO-classified city center of Évora. See remnants from Roman through Renaissance times. Visit the Temple of Diana and learn how cork is extracted from Cork Oak Trees. Visit the medieval Évora Cathedral and climb to the roof to admire the golden plains surrounding the city. Continue to the Renaissance Church of St. Francis to see the Chapel of Bones, covered in human skulls and bones, before returning to Lisbon.

Begin this tour that takes place in the stunning coasteering location in the southwest Algarve, in the Costa Vicentina Natural Park located between Sagres and Lagos. Start the 3 hours of excitement by getting ready with your wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet, and shoes, and getting a briefing on safety and prevailing conditions. Walk down to the water's edge and start off exploring the coastline, hidden beaches, amazing cliffs, and rock formations, admiring the clear ocean waters and learning about the marine environment and some local traditions. Soon you’ll be swimming in the ocean and inside sea caves, and climbing and walking along the rocky shoreline. You’ll have a chance to try some cliff jumping as well. Starting with small jumps to develop your confidence and technique, you’ll build up to jumps of up to 10 meters high. You can even jump inside the grottoes. After all the action, it will be time to walk back over the cliffs along the scenic coastal path while chatting about your experience.

After meeting your guide at the meeting point, begin your unique horseback adventure by entering a hidden pathway leading to lush pine forests, a place of great beauty, and a typical landscape of the region. Continue along some winding paths that take you through the countryside, providing ample opportunity for contemplating the gorgeous surrounding flora of the natural park and its distinctive wild fruits. As you ride, you’ll overlook the sea along the coast until you finally move out onto the beach itself, where you’ll feel the wind, the Sunset and your horse as you ride beside the sea. Wander the narrow streets and alleys of the town and visit the impressive cathedral which you can pay to enter if you would like. From here, continue your ascent into Monchique Mountain. Stop in the charming spa village of Caldas de Monchique, with springs of proven medicinal properties. Following the winding road, reach the highest point in the Algarve, Fóia, standing at 902m above sea level. The views here are dramatic and the air is incredibly pure. Downhill then from Fóia, cross the countryside and take a break in the small village of Marmelete where you have time to enjoy lunch in one of the local restaurants. After lunch, go straight to Costa Vicentina, to admire the magnificent beaches where you can have some time to walk around, relax, and capture pictures of the views. Then it’s on to the ‘end of the world’, Cape St. Vincent, the southwestern point of Europe, where you can feel the wilderness of the place. The lighthouse that rises in this place defies the elements and is one of the most important lighthouses in Europe due to its strategic position. Lastly, pass through Sagres, a typical fishing village, and see its sheltered fishing port. At the end of the tour, the driver will drop you back at your hotel.

Departing from Évora, it will take you about 4 hours to visit the amazing village of Monsaraz. Wander the streets and enjoy the breathtaking views of this hilltop village. Enter a time capsule that will take you back centuries. En route, the tour will stop at San Pedro do Corval, a pottery village. Stop by a family-owned pottery and have a great opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about ceramics. Afterwards, don't go home without tasting unique wines from a local winery.
