Full description
Explore Lisbon from East to West in a Tukxi, a small vehicle that's a mix between a tuk tuk and a 3-wheeled scooter. This 3-hour private tour combines a visit to 3 historical neighborhoods with an exploration of Belem, one of the most popular districts in the city, making it the perfect way to get the most out of the city when you don’t have much time.   Your tour starts in the Old Town, where you’ll travel back in time and fall in love with the colorful neighborhoods of Alfama, Mouraria, and Graça. Stop along the way to discover all that Lisbon has to offer, which is made especially easy by the Tukxis.   Then, follow your guide over to the west of the city along the glittering river Tejo to arrive at Belem, where many of the great Portuguese explorers embarked on their voyages. Here, you can admire Belem Tower, the Jeronimos Monastery, and the Monument to the Discoveries, 3 of the most astonishing buildings in Portugal. If there’s time, end your tour with a visit to the world-famous Pasteis de Belem and try some of their delicious custard tarts.

The pickup was punctual with a very nice, well-groomed Tukxi, which also had an electric motor, which made the trip even nicer because it was quieter. The route through the old town was nice, I would not recommend the trip to Belem. The route there is absolutely unattractive, in stinking traffic at full throttle. We were there in October and were very freezing on the fast ride there. In the old town, at a slow pace, it was very pleasant. In Belem itself the queues of those waiting were so long that we had no opportunity to visit the monastery or anything else. Recommendation: With the Tukxi through the old town and to Belem by train or taxi as early as possible in the morning, so that there are not as many visitors on site. The guide was rather taciturn, but spoke acceptable German.
