We took the tour with Jorge and Sebastian this afternoon-absolutely amazing! We learned so much about the fascinating history of the area and were lucky enough that the sea cooperated and allowed us to enter many of the caves and grottoes. The views were stunning - and both Jorge and Sebastian were wonderful - providing great stories and interesting information, plus an excellent recommendation for dinner after the tour. If there is one thing that you are going to do while visiting Lagos, this should be it!

I spontaneously decided to do the tour the same morning. The booking was quick and easy. At the meeting point I was told that the skipper would pick us up there. To my surprise I was alone at the time and had the whole tour to myself. The driver and guide were very nice and attentive. They were able to tell a lot about the bays, rocks, beaches and all around and responded to my wishes and questions. If I wanted to take photos, they stopped or drove to a better position for a nice picture. I am very satisfied with the tour and can only recommend it. If you want to go all the way into the Ponta da Piedade, you should go in the afternoon when the tide is high. Otherwise the boat cannot drive that far in. Thank you John and Antonio for the experience!

The caves are really a must-see and can only be reached by boat or kayak. The guide is personable and names the grottoes, but could have shared more historical facts about the area. You should point out in the GetYourGuide offer that there is a check-in 20 minutes before the activity, I saw that in the email too late, but they waited for me for a few minutes, which was very friendly. The boat was nice and small, so that, unlike large boats, you could also drive into the caves. The only alternative to these small boats is a kayak, which is even more idyllic, but also takes longer and is less comfortable.
