The itinerary will be as follows: you will meet your guide at the Gran Caminata office to be transported by road to the Irapay guard post located at kilometer 28 of the Iquitos-Nauta Highway, this is the entrance to the Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve. Upon arrival, you will be introduced to the park rangers, register your visit and receive a brief introduction to the protected natural area you are visiting. Your guide will explain the route to develop, the rules of conduct within the area and safety rules. Then you will start the tour to the location of the camera traps, on the way you will recognize the most representative plants and animals of the varillal forest. Approximately at noon the camera traps will be checked, the memory cards will be changed and the equipment will be kept in the field. At this point you will have already covered half of the route and it will be time for lunch in the middle of the jungle, a comforting box lunch, after a short break you will return to the guard post of the reserve, a walk of approximately 3 hours, upon arrival you will have a rest time to then project the material captured by the camera traps, you will identify the species. Finally you will get ready to return to the city of Iquitos and say goodbye at the Gran Caminata office.
