Palancón: Canyoning Experience

1. Palancón: Canyoning Experience

Go on a canyoning adventure while in Palancón. Bring the little ones along for a fun-filled day discovering the natural beauty of the area from the heart of Sierra Nevada and Arroyo del Palancón national park. In the vicinity of the port of La Ragua, at 1,700 meters above sea level, in the heart of the P. Nacional Sierra Nevada, is the Arroyo del Palancón. Alpine ravine excavated in typical Sierra Nevada slate and schist, the black of its rock contrasts with the green of the mosses and ferns. After enjoying a nice meal in any of the many picnic areas nearby, only 5 minutes separate you from the beginning of this ravine. The course is suitable for all types of visitors and especially for the little ones. Its duration of between 2.5 and 3 hours, its easy approach and return, and its hilarious slides make it the most fun and comfortable way to beat the summer heat of the Guadix, Baza, and Alpujarra Almeria region.
