Experience Amsterdam stress-free with an unlimited travel card for all public transport networks operated by GVB throughout the city. Purchase a ticket valid for a day or a multi-day ticket that best suits your plans. Travel on the metro, trams, buses, and ferries and experience the city like a local. Using your ticket is easy. Simply collect your ticket from any of the four participating stations then check in when boarding a tram, bus, or metro, and then check out when you exit or disembark the vehicle. Your ticket will be validated on first use and can be used for unlimited travel until the end of its validity. If you have additional questions, or your ticket appears to be defective, you can easily go to one of the designated pick-up locations or call the number presented on your mobile voucher for assistance.

  • Exchange your voucher for a public transportation chip card at any of the indicated locations:
  • GVB Service & Tickets Central Station (Monday - Sunday 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM), GVB Station Zuid (Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM; Saturday - Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM), GVB Station Bijlmer Arena (Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM; Saturday - Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM), and GVB Station North (Monday - Sunday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
  • Children up to 4 years old travel for free on the public transport system in Amsterdam
  • For children above 4-11 years, there is a 24-hour ticket available. If you need a ticket for children which is valid for more than 24 hours, it is suggested that you buy multiple 24-hour child tickets
  • This ticket does not cover regional trains to and from Amsterdam Schiphol airport

It was difficult for me to pick it up at the station. My phone wasn't working and I couldn't produce the QR code. I had to ask for help at the Plaza Victoria hotel, where a kind concierge showed me how to make screenshots that I could access on my phone without wifi.

At first we thought it was expensive for a travel ticket but we used it on the metro, tram, bus and ferry so much over the 4 days it paid for itself ten times over. Would definitely recommend, saw the city via public transport which saved our legs and hopped off for a coffee at several places along the way.

the Amsterdam GVB Public Transport Ticket was a great option for getting around Amsterdam. The public transportation system covered most of the city and made it extremely easy to get around the city. It ran on time and was clean. I recommend trying the public transportation in Amsterdam.
