Your first stop will be the ancient Greek city-kingdom of Kourion which dates to the 10th century BC. You will see the many excavations including the complex of Eustolios and admire the magnificent amphitheater with its spectacular views over Episkopi Bay. Continue with a stop at Kolossi and the medieval castle, a former Crusader stronghold free time and optional visit the Castle ( entrance fees not included in the price). From there, drive to Limassol arriving in the old town, close to the medieval castle, Limassol Marina, and the market area where you will have free time for exploring, shopping and lunch (not included). On the way back stop at the Rock of Aphrodite where, according to legend, the Goddess of Love and Beauty was born from the waves and there will be time for a swim.

Rural Cyprus is at your fingertips on this whistle-stop tour. Explore geological formations, archaeological sites, and characteristic villages like Fini and Omodos. Get a taste of local flavors during a tavern lunch and head to a winery for a tasting. The morning kicks off with the first stop at Petra tou Romiou for photographs (available only for those coming from Paphos town and Aphrodite Hills Resort). Aphrodite’s mythical birthplace is a geological formation of huge rocks along one of the coastlines on the island. Continue to Kourion, one of the most impressive archaeological sites on the island. It’s classic Greco-Roman, with a half-moon of seats facing out to sea. Kolossi Castle is the next stop. This Crusader-era castle is surrounded by flowering plants and a pretty courtyard. Hop back on the bus and head to Fini where lunch will be served at a local tavern. Later, stop at the mountain-ringed village of Omodos where you will have a guided walk through the village. To round off your trip, you'll have the opportunity to taste traditional Cyprus wine in a local winery before heading back to the resorts.

Pick up from hotels or meeting points by coach and driving towards Paphos. Coffee break at Chirokoitia village. Guiding at the archeological site of ancient Kourion with its mosaics and Greek-Roman Amphitheatre with breath-taking view over the bay. Continue to Paphos with free time at Paphos harbour for walking, shopping, having lunch in one of the numerous taverns (not included) or visit of the Paphos castle (not included) and the mosaics of the House of Dionysus (entrance fees are not included). It was really lovely for the price. The guide lady spoke very well English and told us all we needed to know. Great 2 hours in Limassol so we have had lots of time to eat and just enjoy our free time. Lovely places to see especially Aphrodite’s Rock. Really recommend it!
