It's a great experience. Quite a physical challenge but with infinite satisfaction. We did the entire route on foot but there is the possibility of doing it on horseback (this is not included and they charge you between 90-20 soles depending on where you take the horse, since they offer it to you at different points along the way). Another important thing is that if you take the horse there is a point where you have to walk up because they don't go up, they are about 500 meters but very vertical. We have come in winter and you have to wear cold clothes for the first few hours, then a backpack to take off when you walk and there is sun and when you are upstairs it is very cold again. Spectacular views! The very attentive guide all the way. Breakfast a little poor but the food back very good. Totally recommended!!! Beware: The transport moves a lot and the road uphill looks dangerous. PS: do not plan anything else that day because you arrive very tired.

My guide was very communicative over what’s app and picked me up at my hotel and brought me to the bus where we traveled about 1.5 hours to rainbow mountain. We stopped at a local restaurant for a buffet breakfast. The guide took care of all entry tickets, gave us some essential oil for altitude, and got us situated on the mountain. Everyone was able to hike at their own pace and we all met back at the bottom. I especially enjoyed the cheers at the end of the hike! On the way back We stopped at the same restaurant for a buffet lunch of local cuisine.

It was a great experience. Be prepared for a not a long but a hard hike. Be careful if you have any medical conditions. The guide was amazing and checked in on us every 10-20 or so. The meals were provided and exceeded my expectations!

Tour was fine, well organized, guide was very helpful and kind. The tracking can be quite long and difficult for someone who is not is the fittest mode, also be prepared for dizziness and headache.

We were picked up in front of our hostel. Nice and involved guide. Nice breakfast and lunch. Guide pays attention to you and gives a lot of explanations.
