Full description
Enjoy an adventure away from the beaches of Antalya Province with a full-day canyoning and rafting tour in Koprulu Canyon National Park. Transfer from your hotel in Antalya, Alanya, Belek, Kemer, Manavgat or Side to a meeting point approximately 2 kilometers from the start point of your adventure. On arrival, get a safety briefing and instructions before your set off. During the day you will experience 2 very different canyons: a narrow warm water canyon surrounded by sheer rock cliffs for canyoning; and a wide cold water canyon of forested cliffs and natural waterfalls. Pause to swim and dive into crystal clear water, enjoy natural water slides and Jacuzzis, along with other fun activities. Halfway through, enjoy a break to take in the beauty of the Koprulu Canyon and Kopru River. The 1st course (Canyon Course) will take about 1.5 hours to complete. Then, walk through the canyon to a river where your whitewater adventure will take place. The terrain here is rocky with some fast flowing water and some calm water. As the level of difficulty is higher, children under 10 years old are not permitted to take part.

Area was beautiful! Going down into the canyon was cool (and even freezing swimming!). Guides were helpful, fun and nice. Rafting was awesome, wish it was a bit harder and longer. Kind of lame you had to buy crappy water shoes from them, but apparently they’re only insured if you do. Lunch was simple but good after a nice rafting workout. All in all a day we’ll spent. :)

We went for Canyon hiking and rafting. We climbed over rocks, swam and cliff jumped in the cold river (alternative route provided for non-swimmers), and raft down the river. Definitely bring water shoes, the terrain makes it compulsory. They sell the shoes at 8 euros a pair but quality is poor (spoilt after the first few steps on the canyon). The guide leader was amazing and he was very passionate in his work. Brought everyone to high spirits for the cold swim. However, the rafting guide assigned to us was much less enthusiastic, felt like we were just going through the motions. During September, the river currents are considerably mild. A better time to do rafting would be March to April. Lunch was provided, but at a very late timing after the activity, which was around 3pm. We suggest taking heavy breakfast before boarding the minibus to the canyon as it was a very long drive and the next meal would be after the activity.

Easy booking through the website. I was approached regarding the pick up the day before, it was almost on time at a location nearby. The travel time is bit lengthy, 2.5 hrs each way from Antalya including the detour at other towns to pick/drop other guests, but it’s part of the 10 hrs of expected entire activity time. The canyoning and rafting were enjoyable, despite the shallow water level at many parts of the canyon. Good organisation and lunch preparation by the tour operator. Many thanks to Sinan for his leadership and positive energy.
