Meet your group at the meeting point and travel to Valle de la Luna, located 13 kilometers from San Pedro de Atacama. Explore the lunar-like landscape which will mesmerize you with its colorful geology. Discover interesting rock formations composed of natural minerals, including Las Tres Marías created by wind erosion over many decades. See other sights such as the Grand Dunes, the Salt Cave, the Amphitheater, and the Coyote Stone. At the end of the day, admire the sunset from an exceptional lookout point overlooking the valley. Enjoy a panoramic view of the rugged beauty of the Atacama desert, and see the beautiful colors of the sky as the sun gradually sets.

Enjoy two different views of the night sky during your tour. The first will be the Western vision, which studies the universe, the brightness of the stars, and their planets. You can observe, with a telescope, objects in the solar system, deep space, and constellations. Learn about the cosmos and its formation.  Then, go on an ethnic astronomical journey to understand how the ancient inhabitants of the Andes interpreted the universe, the milky way, and the night sky. Many centuries before the arrival of the Spaniards, in the indigenous settlements of America, many wise observers of the universe interpreted the objects of the night sky. In all the black spaces, they observed figures that gave them information about their daily life including animals, water, rivers, schedules, and life after death. 

You will be meeting at a meeting point with your guide. The meeting point is Mal de Puna: Calle Licancabur; you will receive instructions before the tour. You will then drive to the outside of San Pedro where we have our observatory. There you will receive a talk about the sky and the andean cosmovision. You will then move into a session of night-pictures with our photographer. You will have a nice aperitivo with wine and piscosour while enjoying the sky. The drop-off will be in your hotel.

The Salar de Atacama is the largest saline deposit in Chile and is formed by a depression with no water outlet that it receives from the San Pedro River and multiple streams through which the water from the mountain range filters. Inside this, is Laguna Cejar beautiful and mystical of turquoise color. Its high salt content generates the floating effect which makes a relaxing bath and a fun experience. Then we will visit Ojos de Salar, formed by two pools of water from underground waters where small reeds and algae grow on its banks. Finally in Laguna Tebenquiche we will enjoy the great whiteness of salt, along with an aperitif and contemplating in its waters the reflection of the Cordillera ... definitely an unforgettable spectacle.

Hotel pickup and drive to the Cordillera de la Sal (Salt Mountainrange) where you will find Vallecito. You will visit the "Magic Bus of Atacama" and discover crazy rock formations for an afternoon in the heart of the Atacama Desert. You will do some mini trekkings and explore the various rock formations. You will finish the day with a nice pisco sour while enjoyng a beautiful sunset looking at the Andes!

You will visit the Hidden lagoons of Baltinache which are at 1 hour drive from San Pedro de Atacama. You will be picked up in your hotel and move to the lagoons. Once you arrive to the park, you will pay the entrance fee (not included) and visit the 7 lagoons. You will be able to enter in one lagoon only and experience floating while surrounded by an amazing landscape. After showers, you will continue to a nice aperitivo with home-made pisco sour and snacks. You will then continue to San Pedro de Atacama. The drop-off is in the cengter of the city.
