We only had about 36 hours in Athens on the start of our Honeymoon and we really wanted to make the most of it, so we booked a private tour of the Acropolis & Museum. This was an amazing choice because it allowed us to talk one on one with our guide, move around Athens freely, ask all sorts of questions and really get an intimate feel of the city! Dorina, our tour guide, was absolutely fantastic & every few steps it seems she taught us new things about the history of the city. She was so incredibly knowledgeable I wish I could have taken her with us through the rest of Greece! We were referencing things she said or taught us the rest of our 10 day trip, she really helped make our honeymoon! The tour was also definitely a lot of walking (I think we did 12 miles or so that day) so bring comfortable shoes, a hat & a water bottle to combat the heat. Refill stations are available. The Museum is new and well worth the visit -if you're a history buff you can't pass this one up!

Very friendly and punctual reception as agreed directly at the hotel. And off we went with the tour of Plaka in the direction of the Acropolis. The information and explanations were adapted to our interests so that it didn't get boring. The tour of the Acropolis was also very interesting and entertaining. We also had enough time for photos and to take a close look at everything. We continued through vesch. Districts with short stops in a bar and there was also something culinary on offer.

This was a great tour. Our guide Sissy was very knowledgeable and flexible to meet our requests. The order of the tour was planned well and we saw a lot and learned a lot. We would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a “one stop shop” experience of Athens.

This is an excellent experience. I thought it was a little pricey, but our tour guide (Aris) made it worth it. It is nice to have your own private licensed tour guide to walk you through the city and through all the historical sites.

Katerina is an amazing ambassador for Athens and Greece. She has expert knowledge of history, archaeology and culture and warmly shares it all.
