3. From Reykjavik: Snaefellsnes National Park - Small Group

Spend the day in Snæfellsnes National Park, described as “Iceland in Miniature,” on a full-day tour from Reykjavik. Following your transfer from the city center, travel along the coast of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and Snæfellsnes Glacier, enjoying mountain scenery on one side, and the unique Breiðafjörður beach on the other. Locals call it the "Golden Beach" as it is one of the only beaches in Iceland that is not made of black sand. Look out for other wildlife, including - if you are lucky - seals! What people are saying about Arnarstapi

Loved our guide who was patient with requests and stops. He gave great recommendation for lunch! In spite of running around we did not have enough time to see some of the sights on the list so I think it’s better to tour Snaefellsness in two days rather than one.

Great trip! The peninsula is beautiful. The weather was a bit rainy but just dress appropriately and you’ll have a great time. Our guide, Howser, was very knowledgeable and funny which definitely helps on the long drives. Also - get the cod !
