What people are saying about Arromanches-les-Bains

Igor had an encyclopedic knowledge of the Normandy battles. He conveyed his knowledge in an engaging and very creative way. We learned so much from him. He helped us get an extremely realistic view of not only the battles, but a feel for what the of the local French inhabitants of the surrounding countryside lived through being occupied for years before the D Day invasion. He also helped us understand how the local terrain affected the battles by taking us on small roads to experience the thick hedgerows and the elevation changes of the ground especially along the coast. We all came away feeling we learned so much more than if we had just visited a museum. I would highly recommend Igor for your tour guide.

Our Tour of Normandy was the best tour I have ever been on in any country. Igor’s knowledge and passion for the Normandy region is infectious. So many extra touches that made every stop include a human connection. The views and stories of those brave men was humbling. The towns people and their appreciation of the of all the servicemen who liberated them from German occupation was touching. Igor was the most charismatic tour guide. He was able to modify the tour for a special stop for one of our guests that served in the 82 Airborne. You will not be disappointed with any if his tours. Thank you Igor.

Perfect tour and perfect host! I’d give 10 stars if I could. Igor was prompt, extremely knowledgeable, and passionate about the subject. We were picked up in a clean vehicle and transported safely. Not a minute was wasted. He was well prepared with videos, visual aids, and plenty of anecdotes. The Normandy D-Day Tour was the highlight of our trip and we will definitely book him for his Normandy Foodie Tour when we return to France.

A great and moving experience from start to finish. Engaging, well organized tour with plenty of insights, videos, supplemental information to help bring the stories to life.

Igor Rosen was the most knowledgeable, interesting and informative tour guide we've ever had.
