Be sure to check if you can hop on and hop off at any point initially. I took a cab in to Shinjuku station because it was the “meeting point“ I found out later that I could have gotten on that other stops and saved myself 1400¥. The same is true with the other hop on hop off bus is in Osaka and Kyoto. When you’re planning activities be sure to check the proximity to hotels where you’re staying and to train stations.

Very helpful and enjoyable. This is the way to see a big city without worrying about the transportation. Our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable.
