Your stay in Luxor would not quite be the same without a bird’s eye view of the city from a hot air balloons. After convenient, pre-dawn pickup from your Luxor hotel or cruise ship, cross the River Nile to the West Bank – where your hot air balloon awaits. After a safety briefing and introduction to your ground crew and pilot, you will climb into the balloon's basket and get ready for lift off.  Then it’s time for takeoff. Away from the daytime crowds, you will drift peacefully over the west Bank of Luxor and sights such as the monuments of Thebes. As the early morning sun rises over the East Bank, the city and the surrounding mountains will be illuminated in stunning golden hues. Your expert guide will also regale you with insights on history as you take in landmarks such as Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and Karnak, among other important structures. After landing, you will be transported back to your hotel, enriched with the beauty of Egypt from the most enchanting perspective.

Trade in the hustle and bustle of the city for a rejuvenating day at Ain Sokhna Beach on the Red Sea. Relax in a beachfront room (if add-on selected), splash in the waves, and enjoy lunch and savory snacks while admiring the panoramic beauty.   Your driver will pick you up from your hotel or selected location in Cairo at 8:00 AM. Take in the scenery on the 2-hour drive to the breathtaking Ain Sokhna Beach. Upon arrival, check into your room (if add-on selected) with a seaside view for the day only (no overnight stays). Following the 120-kilometer journey, head to the beach to swim in the crystal clear waters and take a rest in the sun at this relaxing beach destination.   Enjoy lunch at the hotel restaurant, or have it served at the beach, upon request. You may also savor some mouthwatering snacks and refreshing bottled water while relaxing at the beach. Later, if the option is selected, try Jet Skiing for a 15-, 30-, or 60-minute fun-filled ride. After the thrilling adventure, you will check out of the room, if you selected the add-on, at 4:00 PM. Then your driver will transfer you back to your hotel or preferred location in Cairo.

Your Ancient Egyptian adventure begins with pickup from your hotel or selected location, and heads towards the Great Pyramids of Giza. Along the way, listen to your expert guide share lively commentary about the sights and landmarks you pass by. Upon arrival at the pyramids, feel immersed in the atmosphere of this unique historical location that is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Admire the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, then head towards the Great Sphinx as well as the Valley Temple, where you can find the mummified form of the King before his burial. Enjoy plenty of time to stop for photo opportunities as you learn about the incredible stories hidden within the pyramid walls. After your tour of the pyramids, hop on board a traditional style Felucca boat for a sail along the River Nile. From the boat, marvel at the array of sights along the river and learn more about Ancient Egypt throughout the ride. The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or preferred location.

After pickup from your hotel in Aswan, you’ll head to the port with your expert guide to begin your trip down the Nile. Departing in the afternoon, you’ll have plenty of time to gaze out from your luxurious quarters, or to hang out by the pool, catching a glimpse of the Nile’s lush flora and diverse fauna with lunch. Around sunset, you’ll arrive at the Temple of Kom Ombo, dating back to 180 BCE. Amble through the stately columns, learning of the complex religious significance that the building holds, paying tribute to 2 gods simultaneously. Afterwards, you’ll hop back on board for dinner, arriving in Edfu for the night where the boat will dock. After breakfast, you’ll head out to the Temple of Edfu, a shrine to the god Horus, and one of the best preserved temples in Egypt. Hop on a horse and carriage ride around the grounds before heading back onto the cruise for some time to relax. Arriving in Luxor that evening, you’ll gaze at the city’s lights from the water as you settle in for dinner. After breakfast the next morning, the cruise will end in the bustling and historic city of Luxor.
