Enjoy skip-the-ticket line access and discover the cradle of Western civilization on a guided visit to the Acropolis. Choose from either a shared or private guided experience and indulge in tasty Greek treats when you upgrade to include a street food tour in Athen's old town.

At the start of the tour, meet your dedicated guide at a hot spot for traditional Greek delicacies, where there are restroom facilities and you can purchase water or snacks.

Let your guide take you onto Pnyx Hill, which is the actual birthplace of democracy. Continue to immerse yourself in Ancient Greek history on a 50-minute tour of the world-famous Acropolis in Athens.

Admire the stunning architecture of the Parthenon Temple, learn the importance of the Erechtheion Temple, and hear myths and stories about ancient Athens.

After your guided tour, you have the option to stay on the hill to explore further at your own pace and enjoy the view over the city and up to the Aegean Sea.

Your guide will show you a different route towards the south exit so that you also see the Altar of Asclepius and the Theater of Dionysus, the birthplace of theater drama.

Upgrade and extend your tour by adding a Greek street food experience. Follow your guide to explore additional areas of the Acropolis hill and the south slope. Afterward, walk into the Old Town for a guided tasting of popular Greek street foods.

Our guide Niobe was amazing! She had so much insight into the history of the Acropolis and how the ancient Greeks would have used it at the time. I was worried the walk up would be very strenuous but she took lots of breaks on the way and it was pretty easy! Definitely recommend.

We had a tour with Fotini and she was amazing. We didn’t know what to expect but it was such a cool experience. I booked the tasting with the tour and it ended up just being myself and my boyfriend, so it was much more private and intimate. She took us to some local neighborhoods and spots to eat traditional Greek food and all were so delicious!! She was so nice and hospitable and super knowledgeable on the history of all the sites we went to. Would definitely recommend this tour and Fotini as a guide!! Add on the tasting, it was so worth it!

We had a great time on this tour. We paid for the small group tour to ensure that we would move at a reasonable pace and be able to get more out of the tour at each location. We got exactly what we wanted and more thanks to Fotini, our guide. Fotini was very knowledgeable and in addition to the key facts about Athens and the Acropolis, told us about many intricate aspects of Athenian life as well as a number of intriguing myths. At no point were we bored or overwhelmed by facts and the explanations, which Fotini gave us came in very handy when we visited the Acropolis Museum on the following day. We also went for the street food option, which was a huge plus and worth every penny. We were lucky as nobody else in our group had chosen this option, meaning that we got a personalised tour of the North of the city and tried some amazing food in locations where we would have never gone if we had not done this tour. We will absolutely recommend this tour to family and friends.
