Great tour, especially the Acropolis is so much better with a guide in order to understand the context. The 1st part (“Athens Highlights”) took us to the parliament, royal gardens and Temple of Zeus. For the 2nd part (Acropolis) some additional people joined us. At the end of this tour, there was a “3rd part” where they visited the Acropolis museum - this was not included in my ticket but I decided to pay the difference and stay for that too, since I had enjoyed the morning so much! The guide Kimon was so knowledgeable and able to keep everyone interested (there was quite a diverse audience). Bear in mind the actual entrance fee is not included for the temple/Acropolis/museum so you will need to pay the guide the extra amount at the beginning of the tour).

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Kostas!

Wonderful morning spent exploring Athens, and especially the Acropolis, with Kostas. The passion he has for the history of his country is contagious ... he gave us so much interesting info, with the odd joke thrown in to keep things light. Could have spent the whole day going around Athens with him. Also, everything was well organized and everything ran on time!!

Athen highlights

Our tour guide provided a lot of information. The tour started in the Syntagma subway station with information about the archeological findings when the subway was built. Saw the changing of the guard at the parliament, National Gardens, Temple of Zeus, Handrians Arch and Acropolis. She was easy to understand and I feel that we saw a lot for our money. I would do it again.
