Full description
Start your electric bike ride at the Dionysiou Areopagitou pedestrian road on a 4.5-hour tour that connects some of the most important sights in Athens, including the Acropolis Museum, Areios Pagos, Odeon of Herodes Atticus, Filopappos Hill, Pnyx, the Ancient Agora and Kerameikos. Leaving the archeological area behind, you’ll ride along the bicycle lane, cycling through popular areas such as Kallithea, Petralona, and Taurus, developed in the late 19th century. Soon approach the construction site of the new Opera House that will also host the National Library. As you continue on you’ll have superb views of Faliro Bay. The esplanade leads you to the Naval Museum, where you’ll see the battleship Averof and a replica of an ancient Greek trireme. Then you’ll enter the imposing Flisvos Marina, which hosts some of the biggest yachts around. Cycle along the coast, where Athenians would spend summer vacations. Holidaymakers would stroll along the magnificent boardwalk listening to the orchestra playing music in front of the Aktaion Palace, a luxurious hotel that remained open until the 1970s. Before ending the tour, you’ll have plenty of time to swim and relax at the beach, which was the first integrated swimming beach in Athens, established almost 150 years ago. There, for the first time, men and women were able to swim together. Following your swim, head back to the center of Athens on a relaxed ride by electric bike.

An excellent tour

We loved this tour - it took us around Athens and then along bike paths thru the suburbs to the coast and down to a beach. Lunch was provided which we did not realise so it was really good value. Our guide was excellent - we would really recommend this to others.

eBikes are very fun and easy to use

We enjoyed seeing the sites by bike! The rout was safe and interesting. Our tour guide, Yanis, was very informative. Don't sit on a bus - get on a bike and see the city close up!
