We had a fantastic trip though the Peleponnese with our driver Theodore and tour guide Patti. Theo is super friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. His driving is exceptional. Patti's knowledge and insights into ancient Greek history gave us a perspective that we certainly would not have gotten on our own. We highly recommend this trip and this duo.

This small group tour turned out to be a private tour. Alexandros, our driver, was very friendly, and we had some very interesting conversations. We stopped to see the Corinth canal, then went on to Mycenae. Our guide in Mycenae was also the same guide we had in Epidaurus. She told us to call her Patty. She was very knowledgeable. Mycenae is very steep, and anyone with knee or hip problems might have some difficulty. The Treasury of Atreus is an awesome sight. The next stop was the beautiful town of Nafplio. We walked the town with Alexandros, and then had lunch at a very nice seaside restaurant, where we continued our conversation about anything and everything. After lunch, we met Patty at Epidaurus. This is a beautiful ancient “wellness” town that has the best preserved theatre in Greece. The acoustics are amazing. It was a long but very satisfying day.

These are three must-see sites, and the opportunity to catch them in one day is hard to pass up. Even so, because of the sheer scope and impressiveness of each site, it's a lot to do in one day and I found myself wishing we had more time even though each stop was well-coordinated with the guides there. The lunch in Nafplio was quite good but a little slow coming for some of our party members.
