Easy to purchase and 100% when they say you SKIP THE LINE! I turned up at about 8.30am and there weren’t many people in the line but when I left at 10am there were at least 70/80. Buying my ticket online and being able to just show it at the gate saved me a lot of time if I had turned up later.

The audio guide wasn't great. It kept fritzing out, but I enjoy reading the informational kiosks anyway so it was no big deal. It was great skipping the line for tickets, and the tickets worked flawlessly at the entrance. (We've had problems with tickets bought on line needing to be exchanged at the venue before they worked at the entrance. Not the case here.) We had a great time at the Acropolis.

Using the south entrance is the way to go. Arrive as early as possible as large crowds gather quickly. The audio guide is a bit flawed. If you pause then it always resets to the start of the tour no matter where you are. The English version was difficult to understand.
