You will independently take the train from Athens train station at 7:57 AM to Kalabaka and admire the beautiful Greek landscapes during your trip to Meteora. Arriving in Kalabaka at 12:05 PM, be picked up from the train station and transferred to check into your reserved hotel. After lunch, prepare yourself for the Meteora majestic sunset tour. You will be picked up from your hotel in the afternoon and after the tour be brought back to your hotel or to Kalabaka town for a short walk. The next morning at 09:00 AM, be picked up from your hotel and join a comprehensive Meteora morning tour or a Meteora hiking tour. For the next 4-hours, you have the chance to experience all the beauty of the unique phenomenon of Meteora and the holy monasteries on top of the rock giants. After the tour ends, transfer back to your hotel where you can get ready for your departure back to Athens. Your train will depart at 6:22 PM and you will reach Athens at approximately 10:30 PM.

Day 1 Catch the train to Kalambaka from Athens Railway Station, and enjoy a trip that will give you the chance to admire the beauty of the Greek countryside. Upon your arrival in Kalambaka, the English speaking driver will be waiting for you at the train station, holding a signboard with your name on it to transfer you to your hotel. In the evening you will join the Meteora Sunset Tour to admire breathtaking views of Meteora, and discover all the hidden gems of this place. Day 2 Next morning, you will have the opportunity to choose the activity you prefer, the Meteora Hiking Tour or the Half-day Morning Tour. The guide will meet you in the lobby to explore together Meteora, and discover the natural beauty and cultural heritage of this area. Enjoy a journey back in time, and learn the stories of the first hermits and monks who laid the foundations of the monastic community of Meteora. At around 5 PM, the driver will pick you up to transfer you to the train station. At 5:22 PM the train departs from Kalambaka and arrives back to Athens at around 9:30 PM.

Day 1 Trains are the most spacious and comfortable way of travel in Greece. Catch the morning train to Kalambaka from Athens Larissa railway station, and enjoy a trip that will give you the chance to admire the beauty of the Greek countryside. Upon your arrival in Kalambaka your English-speaking driver will be waiting for you at the train station holding a signboard with your name on it to transfer you to your hotel. Late in the afternoon, a VIP minibus will pick you up from the hotel to join the Meteora Sunset Tour to admire breathtaking views of Meteora and to discover the hidden gems of this place. Day 2 For the next morning, have the chance to choose the activity you wish: the Half-Day Morning Tour of Meteora to see the main attractions, the monasteries of Meteora with a VIP minibus or the Hiking Tour of Meteora to walk among the rock giants. Visit 2 monasteries of Meteora, the secluded hermit caves of Badovas and enjoy the best panoramic viewpoints of the 6 monasteries. After this morning tour, the bus will drop you back to your hotel. The evening is free for you to explore the area on your own. Day 3 The morning is free. In the evening, a taxi transfer will be arranged for you from your hotel to the local train station at Kalambaka. At 5:15 PM, the train departs from Kalambaka and arrives at 9:25 PM to Athens.

This is a 2-day tour from Athens to Meteora and includes an overnight stay at a hotel, train tickets, and tours on the Meteora Rocks and monasteries in a small group. Receive your tickets and go to the Central Railway Station of Athens (Stathmos Larissis) at 7:30 AM. Board the train to Kalampaka and arrive in Meteora at 12:05 PM. Pickup from the train station and drive to the hotel where you will be picked up again for the sunset tour. See all the six monasteries, a hermitage, and a Byzantine church so you will be immersed in the history of the area. Afterward, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Now you have free time to spend exploring Kalambaka. Find excellent museums including the National History Museum and Digital Projection Centre of Meteora. Wander every corner of the city and discover restaurants to taste the excellent local cuisine.  The next day, choose to take either the midday Monastery tour or the hiking in Meteora tour. After your activity, you will be driven back to the center of Kalabaka and you will have over an hour to spend under the shadow of the giant rocks either having lunch or a coffee or whatever you wish. You will then be given all the necessary information of how to catch the train back to Athens. The train journey is 4 hours long so please bring a book or be prepared to talk to other passengers.

Starting from the lively Koukaki area, where Trekking Hellas Athens base is located, we will first walk up the Hill of the Muses and the Hill of the Nymphs with fantastic views towards the Acropolis. Then our walk takes us on the Hill of Pnyx, where we check out the meeting place of the Assembly in Classical Athens — the quintessence of Athenian Democracy. We will also see the National Observatory dating from the 19th century.Our exploration then takes us to the Hills of Areopagus and the Odeon of Herod Atticus. We then get lost in the maze of the Anafiotika district, before we find our way toward the Acropolis Museum area.Next stops are the Temple of Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, and we then explore the National Gardens. We make our way through this historical park, and we will also see the Presidential Mansion. Finally, we start walking towards Lycabettus Hill , which surely offers stunning views of Athens! After being picked up from your hotel in Athens, transfer to the Delphi region with a local driver. With your experienced mountain guide, hike down the ancient trail connecting the cave to Delphi admiring the imposing landscapes of Parnassus. Stop at the summer camp settlement of ‘Kroki’ to quench your thirst at the traditional drinking-water fountain. Then continue on to hike down the cobbled trail ‘Skala’, which winds around the town of Delphi. On day one of your tour redeem your e-ticket for the 07:57 departure from Athens railway station to Kalambaka. In the evening you will be picked up from your hotel for the Meteora tour, which is really an amazing experience. Then you have free time to explore the city of Kalambaka. At 9:00 AM on the second day you will be picked up from your hotel and taken you on your selected tour. During this tour, admire how simply the hermits settled in the caves of the rocks a thousand years earlier and learn about the history, the myths and the secrets of Meteora that only your local guide knows. Then around 1:00 PM the minibus will drop you back to your hotel. In the afternoon you will have free time to explore the area on your own. Make the last day count in Meteora and take a morning walk on your own to the nearby Natural History Museum of Meteora and Mushrooms Museum. Explore a rich collection of birds and mammals as well as an integrated, one-of-a-kind, Mushroom collection. Afterward, head to the nearby Digital Projection Centre of Meteora’s History and Culture and enjoy a sensational 3D show-tour. Travel back millions of years and learn about the unique phenomenon of Meteora and wander through the monasteries and the surrounding area. Visit a last cafe or restaurant in Kalabaka before heading back to Athens with the 18:22 train departure.

You will walk to the top of Cape Sounion and then to Poseidon’s Temple. Take a stroll up the mountain until you reach the ruins of Poseidon’s Temple. The temple is a beautiful structure with white marble columns and arches, which make it look like an ancient Greek ruin. Once you get up close, you can see the beautiful carvings that were made on the walls. Poseidon’s Temple is one of the most popular tourist places in all of Greece, so it’s always full of people and families. If you want to get a good view into the temple, you can climb up one of its many pillars or ascend by way of an imposing stairway in the back. The Temple of Poseidon was first built in the 6th century BC and was renovated in the 5th century AD, so you can see a mix of Greek, Roman and Byzantine architecture. The temple sits on a rock formation that is approximately 80 meters high and faces westwards towards Cape Sunion. The temple measures about 60 meters by 36 meters and is built from roughly cut limestone blocks. The temple was never actually completed and is rather small compared to other Greek temples. It has a peristyle, colonnade and sanctuary that makes it seem like a more Roman style temple. The columns within the sanctuary are Doric style and made from the local limestone of the island (called "jelab"). The end of your journey, the view of the Aegean Sea and an eternal present awaits you at this majestic place. The wealth of history will make you leave with a deeper understanding of ancient Greece and its religion, philosophy and mythology. Once the tour is over, you'll be driven back to your hotel in Athens.

After arriving at the meeting point in Athens, travel to the port of Rafina to take the morning ferry to Andros. Enjoy a relaxing journey of about 2 hours before you arrive at the island.  First drive to the old capital of the island, Paleopolis. See the remains of the old town and learn about its history from your expert guide. Next stop is at Menites village where you will see the "lion springs", and the walnut forest. Visit the traditional villages of Strabouries and Apikia village, before taking a 15-minute hike to where you will see one of the greatest spectacles in a Cycladic island, the Pythara Waterfalls. After discovering the natural beauty of the waterfalls, make your way to the Aghia Irene Monastery where you will learn about the history, culture, and religion of Andros Island from a local theologist. The monastery features small museums including a writing museum and a floral museum. Your final stop will be at the present-day capital of Andros, Chora. Wander around the beautiful streets of Chora, visit the Venezian Castle. Learn about the history of the island from medieval times. After this, you can opt to have lunch in a local restaurant or return to the port to take the ferry back to Athens.
