Very good experience. Guide was fun to be with. Initially Hard to locate hin. A little on the pricey side but it was different experience. Glad we did it. Value could of done it alot cheaper ourselves but wouldnt of known how too.

Joe was our tour guide and he did a nice job. We did 5 food tasting along the food trail. It started out great! Our first stop was for beef brisket. The location and food was perfect! Great stop especially since we were in Austin. The our second visit was for pizza. We had pizza that I would NEVER have ordered. A strange, but workable combination. It was awesome. So at that point we were pleased! The food on our third stop was tamales. I've never tried them before and looked forward to trying. While we waited we snacked on ships and salsa and a bean dip (which was to be used on the tamales.) I found the tamales bland and nothing I'd try again. Our last stop was an very upscale restaurant for pork chip bites. The seasonings on these bites were tasty, but the pork chops were dry and tasteless. Instead of a final stop for desert, as we have done on outher tours, we were handed a muffin type cookie. Although large, it wasn't very good. I feel Austin has better to offer!
