1. From Hanoi: 5-Day Hanoi Motorbike Tour to Ha Giang

Embark on a lifetime journey and enjoy amazing rides on curvy scenic passes and even single dirt tracks to explore the stunning landscapes of Northeast with waterfalls, rivers, high mountains, and terraces. Day 1: Head towards Vu Linh village (Thac Ba lake, Yen Bai) 180 km with lunch and dinner included. Start your tour by riding on to dike roads following the Red river to Thac Ba lake. See the beautiful countryside with its rice and green tea fields. Turn to the little road to Vu Linh village that is populated by Dzao ethnic minority by the side of Thac Ba lake. Meet these very friendly people and enjoy an exceptional welcome. Spend the night at a local homestay. Day 2: Head towards Ha Giang City for 180 km with 3 meals included. After breakfast, ride along the Thac Ba lake on a small road lined by palm trees and scenic mountain views to join the main Road 2, heading up to Ha Giang where you will stop for the night and apply for a permit. Stay overnight at a local hotel. Day 3: Go from Ha Giang to Dong Van (Ha Giang) – offroad tours to Tribal Villages 160 km with 3 meals included. Wake up to the beautiful morning, on this day you will ride on small challenging mountain roads (but incredibly beautiful) on the land of colorful mountain hill-tribes. Head up the Ma Pi Leng Pass and visit another amazing place, with cloudy mountain ranges and the poetic Nho Que river winding off in the distance. Ride on a zig-zag track until reaching Vuong Family’s Residence, 14 km before Dong Van. The Vuong Family was considered the King of the Hmong People in Dong Van, Ha Giang. Their residence was built in the scenic valley of Sa Phin with Chinese architecture. Sleep at a local hotel.  Day 4: Head from Dong Van to Ba Be National Park (Bac Kan) via Meo Vac 160 km with 3 meals included. Cross the wild regions of the mythical province of Ha Giang, Meo Vac is included. It shares the border with Dong Van District of Ha Giang Province and Bao Lam District of Cao Bang Province. Meo Vac has most of the terrain in the Rock Plateau of Dong Van and above 1000 meters above sea level. Meo Vac has a harsh climate in the winter which is from November to April with dry and freezing cold weather. It is inhabited by different ethnic minorities including the H’mong, the King, Tay, Dzao. Overnight at homestay Day 5: Ride from Ba Be to Hanoi 230 km breakfast and lunch is included. After breakfast, take another boat-ride on Ba Be lake to another side, before jumping on our motorbikes to Cho Ra, head up to main Road 3. Ba Be National Park is an abundant bio reserve area containing the world’s only fresh-water karst lake and several rare species of fauna and flora. And head back to Hanoi.

2. From Hanoi: 4-Day Tour of Ha Giang and Dong Van By Motorbike

4 Days tour through Ha Giang – Dong Van Geopark Day 1 – Ha Giang City – Thon Tha Village – Nam Dam village During your first day you will see a big change in scenery when driving into the mountains before the town of Tam Son. Your first stop will be Thon Tha village. An ancient and traditional village, where the Tay minority people live. We will spend roughly two hours trekking in the village, surrounded by incredible mountains and rice fields. After that you will go to the Lung Khuy Cave. The short walk leading to the cave will show you some beautiful views of the countryside. Finally you will stop at Nam Dam village, where you will spend your first night. It is a charming and peaceful place surrounded by mountains. You will get the chance to discover the Dao ethnical culture and try some delicious local food. Day 2 – Nam Dam village – Yên Minh – H’mong King Palace – Dong Van Town On the second day the road takes you through the Karst Geopark. The Dong Van Karst Plateau is a major geoheritage sight in Vietnam. You will see a lot of rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks and magnifiscent views. There you will be able to catch a glimpse of life on the countryside. The driver can also take you to the Chinese border and the famous northernmost viewpoint in Vietnam. Your last stop will be Dong Van. Day 3 – Dong Van Town –Ma Pi Leng Pass- Sky Path – Meo Vac – Du Gia Village To start this third day you will stop at the famous Ma Pi Leng pass and will get the chance to trek to the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole valley and Nho Que river. Back on the road you will go through many different villages such as Lung Ho, Mau Due and Meo Vac. Finally, you will finish your day in Du Gia village, where you will spend a night in a homestay located in the middle of dreamly green rice fields. Day 4 – Du Già Village – Lùng Tám village – Ha Giang City On this last day you will stop at Lùng Tám village where Mong ethnies live. The village has a traditionnal craft of brocade weaving. During this four days tour you will see many different minorities, and learn more about their traditional lifestyle. You will be impressed along the way by all aspects of the trip, the stunning views, fascinating countrylife and beautiful cultures. The whole trip is an immensely rewarding experience and will give you life-long memories.
