Great way to see Gaudi

Our guide, Christina, did a great job at sharing her enthusiasm for Gaudi’s talent. She communicated well and using the devices we were given could all hear well. Saw the exterior of Familia Sagrada, good tour of Park Güell and the exterior of other Gaudi buildings in Barcelona. An afternoon well spent.

Fun tour with a slightly disappointing finish

Whether or not you like Gaudi's work, it is always interesting. Our guide was knowledgeable, communicated well, and was able to point out much that even a Gaudi afficionado might miss. The tour does not include entry into any Gaudi building, but does include surveys of the exteriors, and that is good enough (the guide did describe key points of interiors, including noting that he was perhaps the first architect to design an apartment building with its own parking garage-- c. 1910). One deficiency is that while we were required to go to the tour office to join the tour, when it was over the bus dropped us off at an entirely different location, and we had to find our way back to our hotel. We had a good street map, and the drop-off point was probably less than a mile away from the original location, but we were not "warned" of this until it happened. The tour also ran an hour longer than scheduled, good for getting lots of detail, but it would have been nice to know in advance.

The tour was a delightful introduction to some of Gaudi's works.

I enjoyed the tour guide & driver & thought both did an excellent job (with exception of below). I have been & continue to be very concerned about 2 women from Brazil who were left at Parc Guell because they were not back at the bus at the designated departure time. I think I remain concerned because I did not understand the instructions that we were to return to the bus; I only went because I was exhausted. And, I fear that the women did not understand the instruction either. Later I was told that Julia Tours is noted for departing at exact times without participants if they are not present. I think the instructions to participants should be made much clearer.
