Full description

Cross 3 borders in a single day on this full-day adventure that leaves from Barcelona. Step foot in Spain, France, and Andorra, and stop in charming medieval villages and beautiful natural landscapes along the way.

Make an early start from Barcelona and soon be in the medieval Catalan village of Baga, surrounded by the rocky peaks of Cadi-Moixero National Park. Explore Baga’s central square and medieval church before crossing the border into France, where you will stop in the charming and beautiful ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes.

Your guide will recommend some of the best natural fountains to visit, and those best suitable for soaking your feet in. You'll then have free time to enjoy the healing waters, browse the local artisan shops and look out for a souvenir to remember your visit.

After an hour of wandering around this typical French village, its time to choose from one of the many local restaurants for a traditional French lunch.  After lunch, you’ll take the scenic route over the Pyrenees Alps into neighboring Andorra, to the capital Andorra la Vella. You will have a little bit of time to visit Andorra la Vella’s tax-free shops for bargain-priced wine and souvenirs On the return drive, admire the Romanesque church of St. Climent and the stunning valley views before continuing on your way back to Barcelona, arriving in time for pre-dinner drinks and tapas or whatever else your evening holds.

Long drive as expected. I felt the bus was a bit compact for such a drive ,a little bigger/spacious bus could do. Our guide didn’t seem really knowledgeable, the information given was just ok,again I believe a guide with local knowledge would make it more fun. Otherwise,a good way to see three countries in a day.

Early start 7am, arrive at 6:45. 18-20 on small bus, seating a little tight. Guide, Ludavika was excellent. Enjoyed all 3 of the cities. Plus we got to stop and take pictures in snow at border going into Andorra. What a day sunshine and then 4-5 hrs later snow on the ground.

It was a very pleasant day, our driver Marcello was excellent and our guide, Enric was very funny! The only thing we suggest is to change the lunch to Andorra. There are plenty more options to have lunch there than Ax le Thermes in France. About transportation, our bus was small for the group, not the same comfort for all places, was very hot inside the bus and have no toilets.
